Congratulations to the Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus classes for having the top score on the ACSI Math League test for the Southeast Region. Both classes took the national test. The Pre-Calculus class finished second out of the 8 teams that took the national test. Congratulations also to Andrew Brown for having the top individual score on the Pre-Calculus test in the Southeast Region.

In an effort to provide security for your child’s lunch account, eliminate clerical errors, and provide students an easy way to identify themselves when using the cafeteria/library, our school is implementing a biometric finger scanning identification program.
THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS INTO THE FINGER SCANNING PROGRAM WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, MAY 14.

Wow! What a blessing. The Yard Sale was such a success. Thank you so much to everyone who sent in donations. Whether it was a few items or a truck load, it was very generous of you. Our total from you donations was a little over $800.00. I also want to thank everyone who stopped by and shopped at our sale. I can’t tell you how much that meant to the students who were working. Band Department News
- Thank you to all those who participated in the Chick-fil-A Spirit Days! We raised $2313.93 this year!! To God be the glory!!
- Our total to date for our Marching Band fundraising is $1394.89. Thank you for your generous contributions!
- Our annual Spring Concert will be Thursday, May 3rd beginning at 6:30pm in the FCS gym. All band, strings and Color Guard members should report no later than 5:45pm for warm up and tuning. Band members should be dressed in formal concert attire to include black closed toe shoes and black socks/hosiery (mid-calf or higher, please!). You can order a DVD the night of the performance. They will be $15 each. Checks (made payable to FCS) or cash only please!
- There will be a band parent meeting on Monday, May 7th at 6:30pm in the band room. Parents of all students participating in band next year (grades 4-12) should attend.

Applications are available in the office for the summer sessions of driver’s ed. If your birthday is on or before December 31, 1997, you are eligible to take driver’s ed this summer.
Completed and signed applications for Session I must be returned to Mrs. Stewart in the office no later than May 3.
